BLACK FOREST LABS

🎨 Black Forest Labs Drops Flux.2

AI image generation just leveled up again.
Black Forest Labs has launched Flux.2, a powerful new suite of image models featuring multi-reference consistency — meaning it can keep the same character, style, and look across up to 10 input images.
Oh, and it’s cheaper than the competition. 👀

🧠 What Makes Flux.2 Special

  • 🔀 Multi-modal design: One model handles text + images, another handles spatial relationships for natural lighting, physics, and realistic compositions

  • 💸 Costs less than Google’s new Nano Banana Pro while landing right behind it in performance

  • 🧰 Multiple versions for different needs:
Pro (premium API) | Flex (customizable for devs) | Dev (open-weights) | Klein (fully open-source soon)

  • 📸 Up to 4MP outputs with stronger typography, perfect for UI mockups, infographics, posters, ads, packaging, and complex text layouts

🌍 Why It Matters

AI image realism is already nearly indistinguishable from real life — but consistency, world knowledge, and typography are the next frontier.
Flux.2 proves the race isn’t over… it’s heating up. 🔥
And open-source is catching up fast.
