📓 Google’s AI Notebook Goes Big – Now Available to Individuals!

Google’s AI-powered note-taking assistant, NotebookLM Plus, is now available to individuals! Previously reserved for enterprises, it’s now open to Google One AI Premium subscribers for $20/month—but U.S. students get a 50% discount ($9.99/month).

What’s the big deal?
Users now get 500 notebooks, 300 sources per notebook, 500 chat queries, and 20 AI-generated audio clips per day. More space, more AI, more research power.

A game-changer in AI research
Since its 2023 launch, NotebookLM has evolved fast. Its Audio Overviews feature—introduced in September 2024—lets users create AI-generated podcast-like summaries from uploaded content. And there’s more coming: multilingual support & a mobile app are in the works.

The plan includes €20 billion for gigafactories and four AI computing centers with 100,000 advanced chips, funded via EU programs and member states.
