A new secret chatbot model named “gpt2-chatbot” mysteriously appeared on the Chatbot Arena with a GPT-4 Turbo-esque performance. Advanced capabilities leads to the speculations from it being GPT-4.5 or GPT-5.

The Details:

• The model`s presence on LMSYS and lack of any official documentation or attribution lead to speculation about its true nature and origin, but reportedly self-identifies as ChatGPT and created by OpenAI when asked.
