🦾 GitHub’s Copilot Evolves: From Code Helper to AI Developer

GitHub just supercharged Copilot, pushing it beyond code suggestions into an autonomous AI coding agent. The latest updates introduce self-correcting features, image-to-code generation, and a future AI that handles entire pull requests.

The Breakdown:

🔹 Agent Mode: Copilot can now debug itself, fix runtime errors, suggest terminal commands, and infer additional coding tasks.
🔹 Vision: Upload an image or mockup, and Copilot generates code—plus automatic UI elements and alt text.
🔹 Copilot Edits: Now live in VS Code, allowing natural language-based multi-file code modifications.
🔹 Project Padawan (Coming Soon): An autonomous AI that tackles GitHub issues and generates fully tested pull requests.

• Dating app Tinder is launching an AI feature to help users connect with “better quality matches” which will give users more “personalized and engaging” connections to stay competitive, attract more singletons, and reverse its declining user figures (active users are down 10%, YoY).
