Block
Jack Dorsey is back with another bird. This time, his fintech company, Block, just launched Goose, an open-source AI agent framework designed to let developers build and deploy AI assistants across multiple platforms—with full control over privacy and deployment.

The details:
🛠 Works with any LLM – Supports OpenAI, DeepSeek, Anthropic, and more.
🔗 Seamless integrations – Connects tools via APIs, even adding new ones mid-session.
🤖 Real-world use at Block – Automating code migrations, dependency management, and test generation.
📜 Apache 2.0 licensed – Free for commercial and research use.
Why it matters:
The open-source wave in AI is growing fast, and Goose might just push it further. Given Block’s success with Square and Cash App, this framework could make AI agents as accessible as those apps did for payments
