APPLE
🕶️ Apple Joins the Smart Glasses Race
Apple is quietly shifting gears — and it might change the wearables game.
According to Bloomberg, Apple has scrapped plans for a lighter, cheaper Vision Pro headset. Instead, teams have been reassigned to chase something leaner, sleeker, and more competitive: AI-powered smart glasses to rival Meta’s Ray-Bans.

Display model → built-in screen to rival Meta
🤖 Features to Expect
🎙️ Voice controls + Siri AI upgrade
📸 Cameras + built-in speakers
❤️ Health tracking integration
📊 The Bigger Picture
Meta launched Ray-Bans Gen 2, Display glasses & Oakley collab
Apple’s Vision Pro (2023) = hyped but heavy, pricey, and slow to adopt

OpenAI has launched Sora 2, an upgraded version of its text-to-video model (Sora) that generates “ultra-realistic” short-form videos from text prompts, and a new, linked social video app for iOS users. Sora is designed to rival TikTok because it allows users to create and share clips on a TikTok / Instagram Reels-style algorithmic feed that blends AI-generated visuals with real footage.
Google can now search using reference images or natural-language prompts, receiving visually rich, shoppable results instantly. Queries like “moody maximalist bedrooms” or “barrel jeans that aren’t too baggy” can be refined in real time, turning traditional filters into a conversational, interactive experience. The update is rolling out this week for US users.
