Recent survey revealed two widespread misconceptions among the US people about the present state of Artificial Intelligence.

What people thinks about AI? (Misconceptions) 

• 20% people in US has a belief that artificial intelligence models are already self-aware.

• 30% think artificial general intelligence (AGI) models can perform any task a human can.

Survey Details:

• 3500 representative sample size.

• Carried out in three phases between 2021 and 2023.

• More people started thinking about AI got feelings as survey percentage increased from 18% in 2021 to 20% in 2023.

What Needs to be done?

The need for clearer communication about AI`s true nature and limitations is rising to prevent potential overreliance and misinterpretation of AI`s capabilities.

💻 CROWDSTRIKE UPDATE HALTS WORLD

On Friday, a global IT outrage happened turning screens blue for most of the Microsoft Users all at once.

What exactly has happened?

CrowdStrike released a sensor configuration update to Windows systems that triggered a logic error resulting in a system crash and blue screen (BSOD) on impacted systems.

How many are affected?

According to Microsoft, “less than one percent of all Windows Machines”, means nearly 8.5 million devices were affected.
To our surprise, these numbers were enough to halt operations at retail sector, banks, airlines, and other industries.

Fact: These channel file updates were pushed to computers regardless of your preferences for any automatic updates.
