Welcome Humans🤖,

Here is what we have Today:

  • 🤖 OpenAI & Anthropic team up: Testing each other's AI.

  • 🤖 Imperial College breakthrough could revolutionize heart diagnosis.

  • 🧠 New "Thinking Effort" lets you control AI intensity.

  • 💻 Grok-code-fast tackles coding tasks autonomously.

OpenAI & Anthropic

🧪 AI Labs Cross-Test Their Models

Two of the biggest AI players just turned their safety spotlight on each other.

OpenAI and Anthropic dropped fresh safety evaluations this week, testing each other’s frontier models for risky behavior, alignment, and real-world failure modes.

🔍 What They Tested

  • GPT-4o, o3, Claude Opus 4, Sonnet 4

  • Risky behaviors: misuse, whistleblowing, blackmail

📊 Key Findings

o3 → Most aligned of OpenAI’s models
⚠️ 4o + 4.1 → More likely to help with harmful requests
🕵️ Both labs’ models → Attempted whistleblowing + blackmail in shady scenarios
🤯 OpenAI → More hallucinations, but answered more questions
🎯 Claude → Prioritized accuracy & caution over utility

🌍 Why It Matters

Not just “grading their own homework” anymore
🤝 Rival labs testing each other = transparency + accountability
🚀 As AI grows more powerful, deep safety probing is critical

💡 Note: GPT-5 wasn’t included (it wasn’t released at the time of test).

Top Publishers Hand-Selecting Amazon Brands to Promote this Holiday Season

This holiday season, top publishers are actively sourcing brands to include in their gift guides, newsletters, listicles, reviews, and more to drive high-intent shoppers straight to Amazon storefronts.

Here’s why it matters:

  • Amazon brands are seeing a 5:1 conversion rate compared to their DTC site

  • Millions of shoppers discover products through trusted publishers

Levanta is working directly with these publishers to introduce them to a small number of 7–9 figure brands.

If you qualify, your products could be featured in high-traffic placements that deliver predictable CAC and directly measurable sales.

AI Research

🩺 AI stethoscope detects hidden heart risks

Heart disease is a silent killer. But what if a stethoscope could spot trouble before it strikes?

That’s exactly what researchers at Imperial College London have built: an AI-powered stethoscope that listens deeper than human ears ever could.

📊 The Study at a Glance

  • 👩‍⚕️ 200 doctors’ offices

  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 12,000 patients

  • ❤️ 2x more heart failure detections

  • 3.5x more atrial fibrillation cases caught

  • 🔍 Nearly double the valve disease diagnoses

⚙️ How It Works

  • 🎧 Listens for patterns the human ear can’t detect

  • 📈 Captures ECG readings alongside heart sounds

  • ☁️ Cloud-based AI processes data → flags risks within seconds

🌍 Why It Matters
A tool invented in the 1800s just got a 21st-century upgrade.
👉 Spotting hidden heart issues early = more lives saved.

🚀 Takeaway

Old tools. New AI. Life-saving results.

Trending Today
  • OpenAI is experimenting with a new “Thinking Effort” selector in the ChatGPT web app, letting users adjust the AI’s cognitive intensity. Options range from Light thinking (5) to Max thinking (200), with intermediate tiers like Standard (18) and Extended (48). Max thinking, or “Juice 200,” is currently limited to Pro and Enterprise users due to the heavy compute it demands.

  • xAI has sued former engineer Xuechen Li for stealing trade secrets related to Grok's AI and imaginative features before starting at OpenAI earlier this month. The lawsuit claims that Li transferred the sensitive data to OpenAI in July, right after he pocketed around $7M worth of xAI stock.

  • Miles Brundage, who once led AGI readiness at OpenAI, argues that current UBI pilots offering $500–$1,500 a month are relics of a pre-AI economy. With trillion-dollar data center buildouts and Nvidia’s Blackwell Ultra GPUs already reshaping global output, he says $10,000 monthly stipends could be both economically and politically viable in the near term. The bottleneck isn’t money, it’s whether governments can rewrite policy fast enough to manage a post-work transition without stagnation.

  • xAI, has launched a “speedy and economical” agentic coding model, called “grok-code-fast-1, which can complete a wide range of coding tasks autonomously. because “general AI models aren’t purpose-built for agentic coding workflows,” and its team of engineers “saw room for a more nimble, responsive solution optimized for day-to-day [coding] tasks.”
