• Engineering and development dominate, forming the bulk of new AI jobs.

• Generative AI roles, though only 3% of total AI jobs, have surged 250x since late 2022.

• In Q2 2024 alone, over 10,875 AI leadership roles were created — 3x the number from Q2 2022.
