The Chinese military has just launched their first artillery drones, launched from 155 mm artillery shells. These drones are designed to withstand enemy attacks. The drones are tested to withstand forces exceeding 3,000 times of their weight. The tests also see that the drones function reliable under a wide range of temperature and pressure.
Some ChatGPT users have noticed a new tool called “study together” appearing in their drop-down menus, looks like it’ll turn ChatGPT into an interactive study buddy: Instead of just telling you the right answer, it’ll actually challenge you to solve problems on your own, helping you master new concepts. Also multiple users can join the same session and study together.
Researchers used a system called CatAttack to inject harmless phrases like “cats sleep most of their lives” into reasoning prompts, tripling error rates in models like DeepSeek R1 showing advanced language models can be derailed by trivial context.. The attack works by having one model generate distractors, another judge their effectiveness, then testing them on top-tier LLMs.
Runway is launching a new tool called Game Worlds that lets users create basic video games using text prompts and uploaded images. Set to release next week, this marks the first time a text-to-game AI tool like this will be accessible to the general public. Initially, it will generate simple text-based adventures with visuals, with more complex game creation features expected later this year.
